Homemade Pumpkin Spice Syrup

Homemade pumpkin spice syrup is the perfect addition to any fall morning! I love adding this into my morning routine. It is so tasty in matcha, coffees, and teas! Check out my recipe for our Spiced Pumpkin Matcha with Cinnamon Maple Cold Foam here

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup of pumpkin puree

  • 1 1/2 cup water

  • 1 1/2 cup of sugar

  • 2 tsp  pumpkin pie spice

  • dash of vanilla extract


Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the pumpkin puree, water, sugar, and pumpkin pie spice.

  2. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

  3. Let simmer for about 20 minutes, until the mixture thickens slightly and the flavors meld.

  4. Remove from heat and stir in a dash of vanilla extract.

  5. Allow the syrup to cool, then transfer to a jar or bottle.

  6. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1–2 weeks.
